What is CoolPeel CO2 Laser?
CoolPeel CO2 Laser is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. Unlike traditional CO2 laser treatments that require extended healing time, CoolPeel precisely targets the superficial layers of skin tissue with controlled energy, reducing fine lines, sun damage, and acne scars while promoting collagen production.

Meet the Team
Who is a Candidate?
CoolPeel CO2 Laser is an excellent option for individuals looking to improve their skin’s texture and appearance with minimal recovery time. You may be a good candidate if you have fine lines or wrinkles, experience sun damage, age spots, or uneven skin tone, struggle with acne scars or enlarged pores, or want to improve damaged skin and overall firmness. This treatment is generally ideal for those seeking a non-invasive solution with little downtime. During a consultation at TruForm Surgery, Dr. Eidson will assess your skin and determine if CoolPeel is the right choice for your aesthetic goals.
What to Expect?
CoolPeel treatments are performed in-office and typically take 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area. The laser skin resurfacing device delivers short pulses of energy that precisely target the outermost layer of skin, promoting collagen stimulation and cellular turnover. Most patients describe a warm, tingling sensation during the procedure. Because CoolPeel minimizes heat buildup, there is little to no discomfort, and the skin remains intact, allowing for a significantly shorter recovery period than traditional CO2 laser treatments.
Aftercare
One of the biggest advantages of Cool Peel treatment is the minimal downtime. After treatment, you may experience mild redness, similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides within 24 to 48 hours. To optimize healing and achieve the best results, it’s important to keep the skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer and avoid direct sun exposure using broad-spectrum sunscreen. Additionally, refrain from using harsh skincare products for a few days to prevent irritation. Many patients begin to see skin texture and tone improvements within a few days, with continued enhancement over the following weeks as collagen production increases.
