Forma is a non-surgical radiofrequency skin treatment designed to address signs of aging and support a more refreshed, youthful-looking appearance, without surgery or lengthy recovery. Patients throughout Genoa Township and the surrounding communities find that Forma fits naturally into their lifestyle, offering visible improvement with minimal disruption to their day.

What Are Forma Skin Tightening Services?

Forma is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment that delivers controlled thermal energy beneath the skin’s surface. This process may help stimulate collagen production, which can gradually improve skin tone, texture, and firmness over time. It is commonly used on the face, jawline, and neck to address skin laxity and mild to moderate signs of aging.

At TruForm Surgery, Forma treatments are conducted in a professional clinical environment by a trained team guided by board-certified surgeons. The device glides across the skin while delivering consistent heat, and most patients find the experience well-tolerated. Individual results may vary, and our providers will discuss your complete options during your consultation.

Who May Benefit from Forma in Genoa Township?

Forma may be a good fit for individuals who want to address early signs of skin laxity, improve skin texture, or maintain results between other professional treatments. Whether you are a busy professional in the Brighton or Genoa Township area or simply looking to invest in your skin health, Forma offers a flexible option worth exploring.

Good candidates typically include those who:

  • Experience mild to moderate skin laxity along the face or neck
  • Want to receive a non-surgical option before considering more advanced procedures
  • Are ready to commit to a course of treatments for best potential results
  • Are in overall good health and have realistic expectations about outcome
  • Find themselves looking for professional skin care services closer to home

A complete evaluation is essential. Dr. Brittany Eidson will review your skin concerns, medical history, and goals to help you determine whether Forma is the right path forward.

What to Expect During Your Forma Treatment

Your experience will commence with a one-on-one consultation where we learn about your skin goals and share information about how Forma works. This is your opportunity to ask questions, review before-and-after photos, and understand what a complete course of treatments may look like for your specific concerns.

Each Forma session is typically conducted in 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. The handpiece is moved across the skin in a way that delivers consistent heat while monitoring temperature in real time. Most patients describe the sensation as warm and generally well-tolerated, though individual comfort levels vary.

There is minimal downtime expected for most patients. You may experience some temporary redness following the session, but most individuals return to regular activities the same day. Results from a full course of Forma treatments typically develop gradually over several weeks as collagen continues to respond. Individual results may vary.

What does a Forma treatment feel like?

Most patients describe the sensation as warm, similar to a hot stone massage. The device is designed to maintain a consistent and controlled temperature throughout the session. Most individuals find the treatment generally well-tolerated, though personal comfort levels vary.

How many Forma sessions will I need?

A complete course of Forma treatments typically involves multiple sessions, often spaced one to two weeks apart. The total number of sessions recommended will depend on your individual skin concerns and goals. Your provider will share a personalized plan during your consultation.

When can I expect to see results?

Noticeable results typically develop gradually over several weeks as collagen production responds to the treatment course. Most patients begin to see visible improvement after completing their recommended sessions. Individual results may vary based on skin type, age, and lifestyle factors.

Is there downtime after Forma?

Most patients experience minimal downtime and return to their regular activities the same day. Temporary redness is the most commonly reported side effect and typically resolves within a few hours. Your provider will discuss what to expect based on your specific treatment plan.

Is Forma safe for all skin types?

Forma has an established safety profile and is generally well-tolerated across a range of skin types. As with any professional treatment, a thorough consultation is essential to confirm candidacy. Dr. Brittany and Dr. Edison will evaluate your skin and health history before proceeding.

How is Forma different from surgical skin tightening?

Forma is a non-surgical treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to support collagen production without incisions or anesthesia. Your provider can help you understand which approach aligns best with your goals and current skin condition.

Do I need to prepare anything before my Forma session?

Most patients arrive with clean skin free of heavy creams or makeup. Your provider will give you specific pre-treatment guidance during your consultation. Following those instructions helps ensure you receive the most consistent experience possible from each session.

Can Forma be combined with other treatments?

Yes, Forma is often incorporated into a broader aesthetic treatment plan. Patients interested in addressing multiple concerns may find that Forma pairs well with other professional services offered at TruForm Surgery. Your provider will help you build a thoughtful, sequenced plan tailored to your goals.
