What is Forma?
Forma is a non-surgical radiofrequency treatment that tightens the skin. It works by heating up the dermal layer of the skin to boost collagen production, triggers the body’s natural healing process, tightens the skin, and addresses a variety of skin concerns, including smile lines, nasolabial folds, jowls, and forehead lines. The treatment is also not only for the face. It can be used on the neck, arms, and abdomen as well.
The Forma technology can also be combined with injectables, other laser treatments, facials, and chemical peels for the ultimate skin rejuvenation.

Meet the Team
Who is a candidate?
Most patients struggling with loose skin are good candidates for Forma skin tightening treatment as it works on all skin types and skin tones.
We also recommend you be in good overall health, have realistic expectations of treatment, be nonsmokers, and be looking for a non-invasive treatment alternative to cosmetic procedures.
During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history, list of medications, and aesthetic goals to ensure that this is the right treatment for your needs.
What to expect?
A Forma skin tightening procedure is relatively straightforward. To start, we’ll cleanse the treatment area. From there, your provider will move the Forma wand over the treatment area. It’s completely painless. At most, you will feel a slight warmth that many patients find relaxing, like a hot stone massage. Sessions typically take less than an hour.
How many sessions you require will depend on the results you’re looking for and your current skin quality. If you have only mild skin laxity concerns, you will likely need fewer sessions than those with more extreme sagging skin.
Aftercare
Because this is an outpatient treatment, there is no downtime and you can go back to your normal routine immediately. You will notice some redness, but that will go away within a day or two.
You will want to avoid strenuous exercise, extreme temperatures, and excess sun exposure for the first few days after your Forma treatment. Retinol will also need to be avoided.
Most patients require multiple treatments over the course of several weeks to see the optimal results. You will start to see some results after your first treatment, but it typically takes 6-8 weeks and multiple treatment sessions before you see full improvements.
